The PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) course is an introductory program designed for those curious about experiencing the underwater world without committing to full diver certification.
About The Course
Theory session: You’ll start with a short classroom or online session covering the basics of scuba diving, including equipment, safety procedures, underwater communication, and diving physics.
Confined water training: This takes place in a pool or calm, shallow water environment. Your instructor will guide you through basic skills like mask clearing, regulator recovery, buoyancy control, and underwater communication.
Open water dive: The highlight of the program is an actual dive in open water, like a lake, ocean, or quarry. You’ll be accompanied by your instructor and explore the underwater world first-hand, marvelling at marine life and experiencing the feeling of weightlessness.

How to Earn your Scuba Diving Certification
The program is designed for those who would like to try SCUBA diving before committing to the entire Open Water Diver Course. It is rather an experience than a qualification course.
During DSD training, you will have an introduction to the principal of diving with a theory session.
You will then spend some time in our on site pool to get familiarized with SCUBA gear and learn some of the basic skills.
After the pool session, we will take you on a ocean dive at a suitable dive site. You will tour around underwater with your instructor’s supervision, enjoy the marine life and gain your first-time experience of diving.
